If you love scrapbooking, you’ll definitely love the iPhone/iPod touch app called Coolibah. It’s a premium digital scrapbooking app for all your iPhone and iPod Touch photos.

Creating a new scrapbook is very simple and only takes seconds! There’s a free kit that’s pre-installed when you purchase the app. Start a new page by picking a background for your layout. Then add a photo, a few embellishments, and maybe some text. Then viola, you’re done creating your first digital iPhone scrapbook page! Now repeat the steps by adding another page to it and another, and before you know it, you’ll have an entire book documenting your vacation or subject!

Once you’re done, export the book and the pages will be added into your Photo roll. If you like, these can be easily used to print great 4×6 prints as well, or be uploaded to various social networks.

To me, browsing the gallery is one of my favorite things to do in the app. The gallery includes beautiful kits with embellishments created by premium designers. Kits are free or costs about 99 cents each. This is denoted by a gift icon (free) or a dollar sign. You can even browse the elements in the kits before purchasing them.

Some editing features include adding one or more photos to pages, resizing, rotating, and adding shadow to embellishments, as well as sending elements to the foreground or background. There is also the undo, redo, and delete options. When selecting an element to edit, it will be highlighted in yellow. Use one finger to move it on the page, two-finger pinch to resize it, and three fingers to rotate the embellishment. You can personalize your page even further by adding text in a variety of fonts and colors.

Some features I’d like to see in future builds would be:

• Ability to view new kits in the gallery on any type of connection (currently viewable on only wifi)
• Ability to reorder the pages in a scrapbook
• Ability to combine pages indifferent scrapbooks

Overall, this app is a fabulous solution on how to organize and dress up your iPhone photos, or fill in that scrapbooking itch while on the road! It’s a lot of fun, especially when you’re on vacation. It only takes a few seconds to create a fun postcard to email or post! Here is what I’ve started on. The paper has lots of birds because I love Twitter. ;) I’m hoping to finish a few more pages by the end of the day!

This is my first attempt at creating digital scrapbook pages from scratch. It’s the start of a “New Marriage” scrapbook template set. Please let me know what you think and how I can make this better.

The beautiful brushes used are from Graphics-Illustrations.com and photography and template design are by me. :)

Software/Hardware used to create this were: Adobe Photoshop, Corel Painter Essentials 4, and Wacom Bamboo.

I added my own wedding photos so you could visually see how it would look like. :)

I’m working on a new scrapbook for my trip to MacWorld Expo! I’m so excited. This is just a start.. I’m hoping to complete it once I get back from San Francisco and print out all the photos. :)

I finally finished photographing all the cards I made in my Rubber Stamping class from two weeks ago. Aren’t they beautiful? :) Thanks you Sarah (my teacher) for designing the cards. The special Candy Corn one was designed by Joanne. :) I had a ton of fun making them!

Cute clock project!

I saw this Love Frame Project in the scrapbook store today and loved it! It’s so simple to make, yet so inspiring and makes me feel happy. I’ll probably work on this project one day with a wedding photo or something.

Just wanted to wish you all a happy national scrapbooking day! I’m currently working on taking lots of photos in New York City to later scrapbook. Hope you’re thinking about your next book too!!

Happy National Craft Month! I hope you’re busy being creative this month! As for me… I definitely am. My husband caught me making a gift for a friend. Yes… I took over the dining table! Will post the gift when I get the chance. But as for you, get crafting!

Yay! I finished my Tahoe scrapbook. This one was done so quickly because I bought a pre-made album. heh I did add in my own stickers to make it my own. Here’s the front page.

So here’s my first attempt at digital scrapbooking. I found some lovely freebies at Digital Scrapbook Place and came up with this lovely result. I’m starting to like digital scrapbooking. :D And what’s great is, Costco now prints 8×8 and 12×12 pages! I’ll start printing these when I finish a few more pages. :D

Here’s the opening page. I made a Mickey template, and cut it on black paper, and then adhere it on a red cardstock. :D

I made simple bridal shower favors. I bought some travel-size lotions and pretty paper. Then wrapped the bottle up in the paper and tie a “thank you” charm with matching ribbon. :D

I first edited the photo in Photoshop and added a nice background. Then got them printed at Costco.

Then I printed the text on cardstock, and added a few embellishments.

This is how it started. Paper and photos. I decided to start cutting out some leaves so I can add them on top of the photo and have some hang from the sides of the photo. Neat effect huh? :)

This is the finished page.

I printed the title using my computer and cardstock. :) It’s some journaling that I wrote in my blog during the trip! Notice how some of the half-cut leaves hang over the photos. :)

I used some of my extra leaves in this layout. :)

I had a lot of photos so I decided to put them all on this page. It looks nice, and not too much decorating. :)
