I took a stamping class two weeks ago and we painted this box. I took a closeup photo of it today so you can see the top.
We first painted the box. Then we made out dragonfly while the box dries.
The dragonfly is made of black glue. You just melt it in a glue gun and pour it into a mold. The mold was actually created from dragonfly doorknob! The teacher used some sort of clay and pressed the doorknob into that. Melt the glue in, and when it cools down, we took pearl powder and painted it. Then we went back to heat it up. This allows the powder to melt into the glue.
Then we went back and stamped our boxes. Then we heat the bottom of the dragonfly and put it on the box. It is glue afterall. :)
