I used my Xyron 510 machine for the first time last night! I bought it during the summer for $50 (that’s the going price for it, but I had to use a 50% off coupon at Michaels! — they do a high markup don’t they?!) but haven’t touched it until last night. It’s so much fun!! And so easy to use!
I did think about getting the Xyron 900 with my coupon (going for $120 at Michaels, so it would be $60), but it didn’t come with a trial magnet maker (which is what I really wanted to use!)
Anyhow, I made a bunch of Save-The-Date cards for my wedding, and a few magnets for some of my friends. :) I want to be a crafty bride. :)

Hi … I did a search for Xyron and found your blog.
I had problems getting the re-fills during christmas. I blew through my first cartridge in 3 weeks.
I love it – use it to laminate the photo charms I make.
I ended up using the 505 or some other model’s cartridge.
OOOOH – just saw a topic about purses your sis makes? I wanted to have purses with pictures on them to sell during christmas but couldnt find a supplier cheap enough. They sell them for over $100!

The Xyron deal at Costco.com is decent. Xyron 900 w/ 3 carts and idea book for $90.

How fun and exciting! I wish I was as crafty as I am now when I got married. I make premade scrapbook pages now and just love it! I think I want to make some wedding ones now! Thanks for the inspiration!
