I know that the cost of scrapbooking supplies can add up, but there is an alternative. You can create digital scrapbooks! Computer Scrapbook is a great place to start looking for digital supplies. And of course, my favorite part is all the Free Goodies they give away. I believe the items change daily or weekly. So, to start you digital scrapbook, your only initial cost is that digital camera, and an image editing program. That should be it. :D
I just found another great place! It’s called Digital Scrapbook Place. Their forum is full of freebies…. lots of layouts and such! The only thing you need to do is register to see them. :) Look for me as ‘daynah’ on that forum.
And since I’m on a roll finding nifty sites, here’s another! Scrapbook Bytes is another cute digital scrapbooking site with freebeies as well.
I guess I never knew how popular digital scrapbooking was until now.

Yea i have been wanting to get into digital scrapping but i think i have too much fun creating with my “hands” rather than my mouse. i mean i have seen some BEAUTIFUL products of digital scrapping but i think i would feel more fulfilled with something i created by hand…
but i guess i haven’t TRIED it yet either, so i could very easily fall in love with it, as fast as the original way.
Do you have digital pages??? if so do you have any to show?

Hi Manda, I haven’t tried digital scrapbooking yet. Well, besides editing photos, I haven’t really gotten into it. Originally, I was looking for ideas on how I can create this year’s Christmas cards. I’m still looking for some cool Christmas embellishments to put around my photos. :)

yea, me neither… like i said i have seen some beautiful pages that were digital, but i don’t know about having to print them out and all that… sounds MORE expensive as far as ink carts, special paper and all that… dunno. maybe i’ll try it one day as it and I progress! :)

I love digital scrapping. Another good freebie place: http://www.shabbyprincess.com I love her work, and she inspired me to make my own kits. I’m “organising” a collaboration kit at Ukscrappers.co.uk where everyone makes a little something and we put it all together for a MEGA KIT lol.
