I had such a great time in class on Saturday!! I think I was the only new one to stamping, but I caught up quick. The class said we’d do 4 projects, but Sarah had a lot of projects in stored for us! She kept us really busy! And she even gave out door prizes! I won some gel pens! hehehe I met a bunch of interesting people too… they’re all so talented.
Here are some of the projects we made:

This was the first card I made. It uses an apple stamp, and we used this technique where we stamp the same image all over the paper without re-inking. That way, you get different shades of the color.

These stickers are amazing. Very pretty! I love this card the best. There wasn’t much stamping involved, but we did use markers to color in the wings.

We worked with tags and markers for this one.

This was the technique I wanted to learn! It’s called embossing. What you do is stamp the area you want embossed with pigment ink. Then pour embossing powder all over the card. Then with a heat gun, melt the powder. Way cool technique. :D

I learned how to stamp with a stipple!

Very simple card, but very cute! It just uses a stamp, brad and ribbon.

We used a special foil for this Sunflower Card.

We used an ink and dabbed it all over the candle holder. The candle is also stamped too. :D

This was an intersting project. We used this shrink-a-dink paper and stamped our stamp on it. Then we made a hole on top. Then using the heat gun, we heated it up. This paper starts shrinking to half it’s original size!! So cool.

We added that trinket to our bent wire. Sarah found this wire at a hardware store. ;) See, you can make crafts out of anything!

This was our extra project! We stamped two leaves on green paper. Then embossed them and put them on top of our box. :D
Sarah’s teaching this class again in the Spring! I’m definitely going to take it. :D
