I have the same issues. I can not get it off zig zag. I sewed one seam and now there is a problem with the bobbin. The machine is getting stuck. I think it is the tension from the bobbin which looks to be ok. I am hoping someone will respond.

To get it to sew straight you need to turn the stitch width towards 1 and not 5.

I got the machine for christmas, and i’m still having problems threading the bobbin. The instructions are impossible, and when you call the people at Euro Pro, they drop your call. I’ve called 4 times and never gotten through. Can some one please help me with the bobbin threading?!?!?

I made it 3/4 of the way through my first project (a case for my knitting needles), but after putting in a new bobbin the needle won’t pick up the bottom thread. I’ve spent literally hours trying different things to make it work, to no avail.

Where can I find needles for the Shark by Euro-Pro sewing machine? The shank is narrower than the regular Singer etc.

I am also having trouble finding needles specific to this machine, but Organ brand needles do work with it. The only issue there is that you pretty much have to find a craft store that sells them, because online I’ve only been able to find them in bulk, and I don’t need 100 of them at a time. I’m not sure if it’s because I haven’t gotten around to oiling mine up for maintenance, but my machine has eaten 3 needles so far. They just snapped right off inside of the machine in the middle of projects.

this machine sucks. it’s counterintuitive & won’t sew more than 5 inches without the thread getting caught & ripping. boo!

NEVER buy anything with the Shark name as a brand.
This is my only advise to whom ever is willing to learn from my mistake.

Anyone with questions about this machine should go to youtube.com and type in sewing machine tutorial. It helped me alot. I do agree though, this machine sucks!

I have had my Shark Euro Pro sewing machine for 3 years, still cannot figure out how to use it ! The instruction manual is a real joke, I thought I was fairly intelligent until I tried to follow manual to operate machine,

I bought the Shark Euro Pro about 2/3 yrs ago and I’m ready to throw it on my grill & set it on fire. I honestly thought it was me at first, that my tomboy hands were getting in the way or just maybe I was not reading the instruction right so I asked my mother to come over and explain it to me. She has been threading her own machine since I can remember… and even she said ” What is wrong with stupid machine”. The bottom does not catch and I seriously could only sew maybe 3-5 inches before something went wrong.
