Painting Wood Cutouts

miniature wood cabinetsAren’t these the cutest? They’re a tad smaller than my hand. I found them at Michaels yesterday near the wood section.

After painting the walls of our house, I’ve had this desire to learn how to paint… Well, paint other things beside walls. :) I’m going to start off with these cabinets and some other small wood cutouts I bought.

Here are the tools I’ll be using for this project:

  • Americana Acrylic paint (66 cents a bottle)
  • Wood cutouts (99 cents a piece, 77 cents for other wood cutouts)
  • Two Small Paint Brushes of slightly different sizes (59 cents each)

With the great deals at Michaels, I don’t think this project will cost me as much as scrapbooking. heh
