Card-Making using “Me and My Big Ideas” Stickers

The third project we did was a card-making one. They had Me and My Big Ideas stickers for us to use along with the cardstock paper.

They used the Fiskars 12″ Rotary Paper Trimmer for Crafts to cut the paper. I really love this tool. Cutting straight edges was so easy. And the nifty thing about this is, you can change the blade, so it’ll cut different designs too. The cutter is so easy to use. The paper doesn’t tear either like the older trimmers. On the Fiskar website, it’s $70. Michael’s sells this item for $41. Just wait for a 40% off or 50% off coupon in the Sunday paper to save even more. These never go on sale, so you’re best deal is to get the coupon and use it.

The card I made was pretty simple. It only consisted of cutting out the square, sticking stickers on it, and then tying a string to it. I didn’t want to spend too much time on this project because there was one more left that I wanted to go to.
